Frost Advisory Issued For Poway
It's going to be another cold night in Poway. How low will temperatures drop?
POWAY, CA — It's going to be cold overnight Thursday in Poway. The National Weather Service issued a frost advisory for parts of San Diego County, including Poway.
The advisory will be in effect from 10 p.m. Thursday to 8 a.m. Friday for the county deserts and valleys, according to the NWS. Winds will continue to decrease and become light in most areas, following the mid-week storm that brought gusty winds, coastal flooding, high surf, and scattered showers to the region.
"Temperatures as cold as 32 to 37 degrees in wind-sheltered valleys will result in frost formation, especially in grassy and mulch areas," the NWS wrote.
