Poway Chamber of Commerce to Install New Board Members for 2012-13

will celebrate a changing of the guard Thursday night as they welcome new Chairman of the Board Jim Crute, owner of , at a ceremony at .
The 62nd annual installation ceremony and mixer is also a chance to honor outgoing Chairman Paul Byrne, CEO of ReadyTech, and meet the new board of directors. Poway Mayor Don Higginson will swear in the board for the 2012-13 term.
The ceremony and mixer is open to the public, and will run from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., and cost $5 for chamber members, $15 for non-members. Hors d’oeuvres by Maderas will be served to all guests.

The chamber is continuing the search process for a that is well associated with Poway, as well as Rancho Bernardo, Rancho Penasquitos and Scripps Ranch.
“The ideal person will have demonstrated experience in growing organizations like the Poway Chamber, and embraces the challenges of becoming a central figure in the local business community,” the chamber stated in an email.
