Registrar of Voters Confirms Primary Results
In the 52nd District Congressional race, Port Commissioner Peters edged out ex-Assemblywoman Saldana by 719 votes for the right to face incumbent Bilbray, R-Solana Beach.

The San Diego County Registrar of Voters has completed its count of absentee and provisional ballots from the June 5 primary election, confirming narrow victories in a few races.
In the 52nd District Congressional primary, Port Commissioner Scott Peters edged out ex-Assemblywoman Lori Saldana by 719 votes for the right to face Republican incumbent Rep. Brian Bilbray in November.
The district covers Poway, Rancho Bernardo, La Jolla, Coronado and other communities.

In their tight race for Superior Court Judge, constitutional lawyer Gary George Kreep edged Deputy District Attorney Garland Peed, 50.2 percent to 49.8 percent.
