Annual Pops Concert Friday Night

Enjoy an evening of patriotic music under the stars.

The 8th Annual Pops Concert will be presented Friday night by Ramona High School Instrumental Program at Olive Peirce Middle School Amphitheater. Residents are invited for an evening of patriotic music under the stars.

The featured artist will be Tim Haas who plays the principal clarinet with the Symphony of the Southwest. Haas grew up in Ramona and graduated from Ramona High School, where he was active in the music program.

Guest artists will be Katrina Schnorr and Skye Savage.

Other performers will include Ramona Unified School District Elementary Honor Band, Olive Peirce Middle School Jazz Band and Concert Band, Ramona High School Royal Blues Jazz Band and their Symphonic Band.

The concert will be 7 to 9 p.m. Friday and will round out with the "1812 Overture."

Lawn seating is $7. Take a warm jacket and a blanket or lawn chair. The ticket reservation line is 760-975-5226.
