Gusty Winds Are Back: Wind Advisory In Effect Through Friday Afternoon
Drivers are advised to use extra caution during the advisory.

Gusty winds are expected in the valleys and mountain areas of San Diego County today through Friday.
East-to-northeast winds of 20 to 35 mph with local gusts of up to 50 mph are expected to blow through and below mountain passes and canyons and near the coastal foothills, according to the National Weather Service, which issued a wind advisory set to remain in effect until 2 p.m. Friday.
The gusty winds could mean problems for drivers, who were advised to use extra caution.

"Travel may be difficult for motorists with high-profile vehicles," according to the advisory. "Watch for broken tree limbs and downed power lines."
The winds are expected to increase this morning, then weaken this afternoon and evening, according to the weather service.
