Monthlong Narcotics Investigation Ends With 3 Arrests

Authorities found 120 high-grade marijuana plants, five pounds of high-grade marijuana, a firearm and $17,800 in cash at 312 Feghali Road.

After a monthlong narcotics investigation, San Diego County sheriff's detectives from the Ramona Substation arrested three residents on marijuana charges at 312 Feghali Road early Friday morning, the department said.

Due to a steel security screen, steel gates and aggressive dog at the home, the detectives received assistance from the SWAT Team during their search warrant at 6 a.m., said a news release.

The Sheriff's Department said the investigation and subsequent search of the residence revealed an indoor marijuana grow, with about 120 high-grade marijuana plants and 5 pounds of high-grade marijuana with a street value of $15,000.

Authorities said a firearm and $17,800 in cash were also found at the home.

Deputies arrested Joshua Bennett Day, 27; Justin Andrew Lambert, 29; and Doug Michael Politte, 27.

All three were being held on $20,000 or $25,000 bail and were scheduled for arraignment at 1:30 p.m. Feb. 27 in El Cajon Superior Court.

The department said they were booked for a variety of charges, including:

  • marijuana cultivation
  • possession of marijuana for sale
  • possession of a dangerous weapon
