More Trees for Ramona Schools
Japanese Maple and Liquid Amber trees are added to Ramona Community Schools and Ramona Elementary.
Volunteers from , Interact and the braved the heat Saturday to dig holes and erect stakes to provide 20 new trees on two Ramona school campuses.

The trees were funded through a grant from the San Diego Regional Urban Forests Council. They included Japanese maple and Liquid Amber.
Ramona Tree Trust was on hand to educate the public about the importance of trees in the community. Kristi Mansolf from talked to visitors about the Goldspotted Oak Borer which is killing trees in the area.
