Ramona Farmers Market Expands in New Location

Residents can now enjoy more vendors and plenty of parking at Ramona Farmers Market's new location in the K-Mart parking lot on Main Street. The market has good visibility too, as residents drive through town.

On Saturday, people strolled among the booths, tasting hummus, artisan breads and jalapeno jelly, while young children enjoyed the petting zoo, complete with a small pot-bellied big, a hen and a baby goat.

Garden art, plants, soy candles, tamales and jewelry were also offered, and shoppers could get a quick massage as well.

The Farmers Market is open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Saturday.
