Suit(case) Up and Go Hollywood!

Charlotte's Antiques says this piece is probably from the early 1900s and was owned by Hollywood director and Ramona resident Budd Boetticher.

Antique trunks are trending right now and they're hard to come by. Charlotte's Antiques on Main has just one left in stock and it's packed full of history.

Charlotte, owner of the antique and vintage shop, said this suitcase came from the estate of Oscar "Budd" Boetticher, a former Hollywood director known for his low-budget western films.

The owner said the suitcase traveled from Liverpool to Canada, due to ship cargo stamps from a Cunard Line steamship on the suitcase and most likely dates back to the early 1900s.

The piece of history would make a great conversation piece and the original oak bentwood on the suitcase is still in great shape.

I'd use it for decor in a guest bedroom or turn it into a unique nightstand for the bed.
