Frost Advisory Issued For Rancho Bernardo, 4S Ranch

It's going to be another cold night in the Rancho Bernardo and 4S Ranch area. How low will temperatures drop?

SAN DIEGO, CA — It's going to be cold overnight Thursday in the Rancho Bernardo and 4S Ranch area of San Diego.

A frost advisory will be in effect from 10 p.m. Thursday to 8 a.m. Friday for the county deserts and valleys, according to the National Weather Service. Winds will continue to decrease and become light in most areas, following the mid-week storm that brought gusty winds, coastal flooding, high surf, and scattered showers to the region.

"Temperatures as cold as 32 to 37 degrees in wind-sheltered valleys will result in frost formation, especially in grassy and mulch areas," the NWS wrote.
