Eastbound 22 Will Close For Two Weeks at 405 Merge
The Orange County freeway is one of several closures reported by CalTrans.

A major freeway connection between Long Beach and Orange County is scheduled to shut down for two weeks beginning Sunday night, and another week of overnight freeway closures will occur in the San Gabriel Valley next week, Caltrans officials said.
In Long Beach, eastbound Route 22 is to be closed where it merges onto the southbound San Diego (405) Freeway near Seal Beach Boulevard. That closure will be in effect at 11 p.m. tonight and will last for for two weeks, according to the latest plans.
That closure will mean drivers heading east on Seventh Street, which becomes Route 22, will have to detour via Studebaker Road and other surface streets. The transition road from Seventh Street to the northbound San Gabriel (605) Freeway will remain open.
