The defense pulls through, and the offense does enough as Trabuco survives a tough battle with the Barons. Both teams had been undefeated.

Trabuco Hills, ranked No. 8 in the Orange County top 10 poll, survived a tough battle with Fountain Valley and won on a night when the offense didn’t keep up with the defense. And make no mistake, the defense had a very good night. The Mustangs remained unbeaten through three games and beat a revitalized Fountain Valley team under its new coach, Ray Fenton.
