Grits is a 3-year-old, 51-pound, female, Shepherd / Cattledog mix.
A good Samaritan found Grits in a Walmart parking lot and took her to a crowded shelter, giving her owner time to reclaim her. When nobody came, Grits was transferred to Rancho Coastal Humane Society through Friends of County Animal Shelters (FOCAS).
Grits is one of the sweetest dogs in the kennels. She will fill your heart with joy. She’s a playful, wiggly girl who needs a patient family that understands her sensitive side.
The $145 adoption fee for Grits includes medical exam, spay, up to date vaccinations, registered microchip, and a one-year license if her new home is in the jurisdiction of San Diego Humane Society.
