Hot Weather To Hit Rancho Santa Margarita: Heat Advisory

A spike of hot weather is predicted to hit inland Orange County Tuesday through Wednesday, the National Weather Service reported.

RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA, CA — Another heat spike is headed to Orange County, and residents can expect scorching temperatures in inland Orange County and a return of summer beach weather along the coast.

The National Weather Service issued an Excessive Heat Watch from Tuesday through 8 p.m. Wednesday for all inland Orange County cities, including Rancho Santa Margarita.

In Rancho Santa Margarita, temperatures will climb to the low-90s Tuesday through Wednesday, with light winds of up to 10 miles per hour blowing.

On the coast, residents can expect balmy beach weather on Wednesday ranging from 79 to 83 degrees, the NWS said.

"Hot temperatures may cause heat illness," the service said in its advisory. "Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, and seek shade if outdoors."
