Menchie's Looking to 'Be Part of the Family'

There's a sincerity in Andrew Becker's voice. The owner of Menchie's Frozen Yogurt says he wants to be part of the community, wants to 'be part of the family.'

It's hard not to believe him.

Becker's business is open for business in the Lowe's shopping center, occupying the storefront that used to house Verizon.

The Rancho Santa Margarita Chamber of Commerce was on hand during the Menchie's grand opening last month. And although the big frozen yogurt mascot had a bit of trouble getting the giant scissors to cut the ribbon, it took place nevertheless.
