RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA, CA — Three Rancho Santa Margarita kids proved that compassion has no age limit after leading a back-to-school charity event on Sunday, Aug. 24.

The event combined fun and intention, with attendees participating in games, arts and crafts, graffiti wall activity and more.

According to organizers Ace, 9, Cana, 11 and Coen, 10, the "United We Drip" back-to-school charity event brought together more than 150 children and their families to donate toys and raise money for kids facing hardships.

"We wanted kids to know that even if they're having a hard time, other kids care about them," Ace Cristopherson, founder of the Ace of Hearts Project, told Patch. "Seeing so many kids come with donations bigger than themselves showed me that even small actions can make a difference."

The event was entirely led by the three young organizers, as well as the founds of Drip Drop OC and the Ace of Hearts Project, with support from parents and volunteers.
