Slideshow: In-N-Out Begins the Build Phase
Framing for the new restaurant is well under way as it aims for an opening by the end of the year.
In-N-Out hopes to open its Rancho Santa Margarita restaurant by the end of the year, and after some early problems during demolition—lots of rocks, 6-foot underground pipes that didn't align—the project is now well under way in the construction phase.
The foundation for the building has been laid and framing for the restaurant itself has begun.
Portions of new sidewalks have been poured and an entry off Interchange Plaza is clearly visible; traffic will enter the site there and wind around the restaurant through the drive-thru and back out again.
