Two RSM Residents Win Toll Roads Contest
Rancho Santa Margarita is the promotion's winningest city as lucky commuters receive $500 in free tolls.
Two Rancho Santa Margarita women were the monthly winners for June in a promotion by The Toll Roads.
Alison Seaver and Darlene Friestedt each won $500 in free tolls through the contest, in which random users of FasTrak lanes are chosen.
They were the third and fourth residents from Rancho Santa Margarita to win the contest, making RSM the promotion's winningest city over the previous nine months. The prize is credited to the winners' FasTrak accounts.

Newport Beach has accounted for three winners.
Seaver, a FasTrak account holder since 2007, is a kindergarten teacher who drives the toll roads because of their easy access and convenience. Her winning transaction took place June 10 at the 241’s northbound Tomato Springs Mainline Toll Plaza.

“I was thrilled when I found out that I won," Seaver said. "With school starting soon, that means much more driving back and forth from home in RSM to work in Santa Ana. What a great prize! It will be such a help!”
Friestedt works in the financial services industry and uses the tollways to get to and from work. Her winning transaction took place June 14 at the same toll plaza on the 241, Tomato Springs.
“Winning $500 in free tolls was such great news!” said Friestedt, a FasTrak account holder since 2009.
The $500-in-Free-Tolls promotion ends Sept. 30. Applicants can enter at thetollroads.com/500. Once registered, drivers are automatically entered to win every time they drive the 73, 133, 241 or 261 toll roads; the more they drive, the more times their account number is entered into that month's drawing.
Past winners have included a student, small business owners, a pilot and long-distance commuters from the surrounding counties.
If drivers do not already have a TCA FasTrak account, they can establish one at TheTollRoads.com or the FasTrak Service Center at 125 Pacifica, Irvine 92618. FasTrak lets customers drive every toll road and toll bridge in California without stopping to pay a toll; tolls are automatically deducted from their prepaid accounts.
All trips taken on the roads during a particular month will be eligible for that month’s drawing only. Only the accountholder is eligible to win, not the person driving during the winning trip. No purchase necessary. For official contest rules and regulations visit http://www.Thetollroads.com/500.
