DUI crash causes power outage in Redding; driver arrested (krcrtv.com) — Power was knocked out for homes and businesses along Lake Boulevard early Sunday after a vehicle hit a power pole at Lake Boulevard and Masonic Avenue in Redding. Police say the driver, a 57-year-old Redding resident, was arrested on suspicion of DUI while Redding Electric Utility crews replaced the pole and restored service.

Redding Area Bus Authority Announces Transition to B20 Biodiesel for Fleet Buses (busride.com) — If you ride RABA buses in Redding, your trip is now powered partly by cleaner B20 biodiesel, a blend that cuts emissions without changing service.
