Greater Ontario California Names Ray Roa General Manager of ONT Field and Chief Operating Officer
Roa most recently served as General Manager for Legends Global in Albuquerque,
Greater Ontario California (GOCAL) announced today the hiring of veteran hospitality and live event executive Ray Roa as General Manager of ONT Field and Chief Operating Officer of GOCAL.
Roa will oversee the opening and day-to-day operations of ONT Field – the 6,500-capacity home of the Dodgers’ Single-A affiliate – as well as broader responsibilities across the Ontario Sports Empire, Toyota Arena, Ontario Convention Center, and GOCAL’s growing destination portfolio.
With nearly two decades of leadership in venue management, destination marketing, and food and beverage operations, Roa most recently served as General Manager for Legends Global in Albuquerque, where he guided a portfolio that included the Albuquerque Convention Center, Regional Sports Complex, Kiva Auditorium, and ABQ Civic Plaza. His career began at The Walt Disney Company, where he received advanced training in entertainment, hospitality, and event production.

A Certified Special Events Professional (CSEP), Roa has been recognized for cultivating strong public-private partnerships, aligning teams around strategic initiatives, and elevating guest experiences. He is also a classically trained trombonist and recipient of the Louis Armstrong Award, underscoring his lifelong passion for arts and entertainment.

ONT Field is scheduled to open in April 2026 as part of the 190-acre Ontario Sports Empire, the largest sports and entertainment complex of its kind in Southern California.
