A resident of Redlands was killed in a crash Tuesday on Interstate 15 in Barstow, the coroner reported.
The crash was reported at 4:12 p.m. June 25 on the northbound 15 just south of Outlet Center Drive, coroner's personnel said in a statement.
"Officers arrived on scene to find a white 1993 Toyota Tacoma had overturned," coroner's personnel said. The driver and only occupant of the Tacoma was pronounced dead at 4:35 p.m. as a result of his injuries.
The deceased motorist was identified as Herbert Richard Buyak Jr., a 54-year-old resident of Redlands, coroner's personnel said.
The California Highway Patrol was investigating.
