Missing 80-Year-Old Woman With Dementia Found In Redondo Beach

REDONDO BEACH, CA — A missing 80-year-old woman with dementia who went missing Friday morning in Redondo Beach has been found, police said.

The Redondo Beach Police Department announced Kay Ford had been located at about 6 p.m. Friday, after she had last been seen at 514 N. Prospect Avenue in Redondo Beach at 10 a.m.

Ford is white with dark brown hair, stands 5'8" tall, weighs 150lbs and was last seen wearing a gray long sleeve shirt and possibly dark colored pants, the Redondo Beach Police Department press release said. She is carrying a large dark-colored purse.
