Pursuit ends with crash
A traffic collision in Redondo Beach ended a pursuit by the Hermosa Beach Police Department, according to the Redondo Beach Police Department.
Redondo officers responded to a report of a traffic collision at the intersection of Pacific Coast Highway and North Catalina Avenue on June 3. The driver, who Hermosa police believed was possibly intoxicated, had collided with a light pole at the intersection, police said.
The driver was injured and transported to a local hospital for treatment, police said. After, Hermosa Beach police took custody of the driver.
The owner of the crashed vehicle told Redondo Beach police that it had been stolen.

Police responded to a report of about 20 members of a motorcycle gang harassing a motorist near the intersection of Beryl Street and Prospect Avenue on the evening of June 1, police said.
The person who reported the gang said one of the members had a handgun; however, when police arrived, there were no motorcyclists. Nobody else reported seeing the motorcycle gang, either.

The man ran from police when officers arrived, and when they found him, he "became aggressive and attempted to strike the officers," police said.
Officers got him under control "with the assistance of an electronic control device," and paramedics examined him at the scene before transporting him to a hospital.
The man was later booked into jail on "various charges," according to police.
Collision with parked cars
Police arrested a juvenile on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol May 27 after the vehicle he or she was driving hit parked cars.
The incident occurred shortly before 4 a.m. The driver was headed north in the 1900 block of South Pacific Coast Highway and collided with three parked vehicles and a cinderblock wall, police said. A passenger in the juvenile's vehicle sustained serious injuries and was transported to a nearby trauma center for treatment.
