Cat of the Week: Little Torti (Adopted!)

Little Torti, a 10-month-old tortoise shell kitten, had discovered the joys of being an indoor cat.

Updated 1/14/2012: Little Torti has been adopted, but many other cats still need loving homes! Check out our previous cats of the week.

Original story:

Little Torti is a very pretty tortoise shell cat with a sweet personality. She is 10 months old, and was rescued from a feral colony in Palos Verdes. She was being bullied and was having a hard time getting food, so her foster family decided to take her in and try to find her a forever home. They knew she was special and just needed a chance.

Little Torti has discovered the joys of being an indoor cat—sleeping on a furry blankie, getting her cheeks and forehead scratched, having a litter box that is cleaned every day, and of course, toys! She loves to play and cuddle, and can't wait to be adopted.

She would do well in a quiet home with a gentle owner who is ready to spoil this cute little girl.

Little Torti is up-to-date on vaccinations and would be a wonderful addition to a loving family.
