Celebrate St. Paddy's Day at Gasser Lounge

The votes are in, the comments have been counted, and is Redondo Beach Patch readers' No. 1 place to celebrate St. Patrick's Day.

With an astounding 82 percent of the vote, the North Redondo Beach bar blew past No. 2 vote-getter , which earned 11 percent of the vote.

"Gasser—great people, great service, great prices!" wrote Patch user Paul. "Gasser will have the best St. Patrick's Day party of any bar in the South Bay, hands down!"

This year, the bar will celebrate St. Paddy's Day with its bash, featuring $2 green beer, $4 IRA cocktails and $6 car bombs until 8 p.m. Plans also call for live bagpipes at 10 p.m. and a $1 Jameson toast at midnight.

Whether you choose to celebrate at Gasser Lounge, Hennessey's Tavern or somewhere else, may you have a merry St. Patrick's Day—and don't forget to wear green!
