A crash in the 700 block of Catalina Avenue on Friday evening sent at least two people to the hospital, authorities confirmed.
Officers shut down southbound Catalina Avenue on that block, according to Jacklyn Steinberg, who saw the aftermath. Members of the Redondo Beach Fire Department confirmed her account.
"There was also a dog (pug) in the car that looked scared," Steinberg told Patch. "A firefighter sat down on the sidewalk with it calming it down while its owners were being wheeled into the ambulance."
