Dogs of the Week: Sammy, Joey, Danny, Deebo

Sammy, Joey, Danny and Deebo are 11-week-old pit bull brothers who are extremely smart and very cuddly.

Though they're high-energy puppies, the four can also be extremely mellow. They love children—in fact, their foster family has children—and they like to kiss people and sit on their feet.

"By far, these are the smartest, most well-behaved, socialized pups," says Jennifer Rosen, who runs the Redondo Beach-based Bullies and Buddies rescue.

Rosen expects that they'll grow up to be big dogs that weigh 60-70 pounds.

The boys, who do not have to be adopted together, are already potty trained, and they know some basic commands.

All four boys would be best with active owners. Joey, Danny and Deebo are great with other dogs, too. Sammy is more of an alpha dog, so the best owner for him would be someone who is "pit-savvy"—someone who has already raised a pit bull.

They are all up-to-date on their veterinary care, neutered and microchipped.
