Eastbound PCH Reopens Near Torrance, Redondo Beach

TORRANCE, CA — Police activity Friday morning prompted the closure of Pacific Coast Highway near Torrance and Redondo Beach, officials said.

Eastbound PCH was closed at Prospect Avenue about 11:10 am. and reopened before noon, Torrance Police Department said.

Authorities asked drivers to stay away from the area.

"Please avoid the area until further notice," according to Torrance police. "Duration is unknown."
