FD Responds to Possible Hazmat Spill
The Redondo Beach Fire Department and the Torrance Hazardous Materials Response Team respond to a possible spill at DSD Trucking.

Public-safety agencies from Redondo Beach and Torrance responded to DSD Trucking on Friday to treat a possible chemical spill, the Easy Reader reported.
The area surrounding the trucking company in Redondo Beach was evacuated after employees "noticed an unpleasant smelling powder leaking from the shipment," which was bound for Arizona, according to reporter Chelsea Sektnan.
Responding agencies were the Redondo Beach Fire Department, Torrance Fire Department and its Hazardous Materials Response Team, and the Torrance Police Department.

DSD Trucking is located in North Redondo Beach at 2400 Marine Ave. near the city's northern border.
According to DSD Trucking's website, the company has been in business for more than 18 years and serves most Southern California counties.
