IEDs Found In Redondo Beach Arson Arrest, Police Say
Police reveal more information about the suspect arrested in the arson investigation over the weekend.

REDONDO BEACH, CA — A 37-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, arson and possession of improvised explosive devices this weekend, according to the Redondo Beach Police Department.
Officers responded to an arson investigation in the 200 block of Torrance Boulevard about 12:34 a.m. Saturday, according to the Redondo Beach Police Department. No one was injured. People inside the building were evacuated and no other buildings or homes were damaged.
"Improvised explosives were located and rendered safe at one of the scenes," police said.

Robert Colt Wilson, 37, was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, arson and possession of a destructive device. His bail was set at $2M.
In 2013, Wilson was sentenced to prison for eight years for possession of eight pipe bombs, according to media reports. At the time, police found a pipe bomb, loaded gun and drugs inside his vehicle.
