Local Cyclists Ride With Wounded Heroes
South Bay cyclists team up with Wounded Heroes of America.

More than 80 people—many with disabilities—participated in the inaugural Steve Diels Wounded Heroes Inaugural Ride in the South Bay on Sunday.
The ride, which began at Veterans Park in Redondo Beach and ended on the Manhattan Beach Pier, supported Wounded Heroes of America. The Beach Cities Cycling Club, Redondo Beach Chamber of Commerce and the Elks Lodge were among the organizations that helped make the event possible.
Additionally, Steve Collins of Hermosa Cyclery donated rental bikes for participants to use.
"It was amazing," Jim Hannon of the BCCC told Patch in an email.
