Owner of Redondo Beach 'Monster Manor' Loses Another Round in Court
An appeals panel upheld the misdemeanor convictions of a man who owned a partially built mansion and letting it go into disrepair.

REDONDO BEACH, CA — An appeals court earlier this month has upheld the convictions of owner of the "monster mansion" in Redondo Beach.
Rami Nassif, the owner of the derelict property that sat in dis repair for nearly a decaded, was convicted of 13 misdemeanor charges related to maintaining a public nuisance and safety hazard in 2014.
The house was demolished in 2015 and an empty lot sat in its place. Nassif appealed the conviction, alleging judicial bias. The three-judge panel didn't buy his argument and upheld the conviction on Aug. 3.
