PCH Reopens After Collision

A traffic collision forced the closure of both directions of Pacific Coast Highway at Knob Hill Avenue early Friday evening, authorities said.

According to Redondo Beach Police Department spokesman Sgt. Scott Wiebel, the collision occurred around 6 p.m. He was not aware of any serious injuries.

The northbound lane was reopened first, and the road was fully open to traffic by about 7 p.m.
