Police, Fire Phone Lines Down In Redondo Beach

The communications center phone lines for RBPD and RBFD were down for about four hours, authorities said.

REDONDO BEACH, CA —The Redondo Beach Police and Fire Department's communication center phone lines were down for hours Friday morning.

Specifically, the numbers 310-379-5411 and 310-379-5416 were out of service as of about 8 a.m. Friday morning. The outage was fixed at about 12:45 p.m. and the agencies were able to receive calls as normal.

The reason for the outage is unknown.
