Police Seek Thrift Store Thief
Police believe the woman stole various items of clothing from Return Engagement in Riviera Village.
Torrance police are searching for a woman suspected of stealing several pieces of clothing from the Return Engagement consignment shop in Riviera Village.
The burglar struck between 2:15 and 2:45 p.m. at the business at 312 Avenue I on May 18, according to a news release from the Torrance Police Department. Video surveillance captured her removing items and hiding them in her purse.
The thief is described as a 50-year-old, 5-foot-7-inch white woman. She has an average build and bright blonde, long hair.
Return Engagement is in a section of Riviera Village where properties have Redondo Beach addresses, but are actually within the city of Torrance.
