Quick Hits: Rummage Sale, Well-Dressed Dogs, Public Safety Fair

Here are some things to look forward to today in Redondo Beach.

Happy Friday! Here are five things Redondo Beach residents should know today:

  1. The Redondo Beach Woman's Club is holding a rummage sale from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. today at its historic building on 400 S. Broadway. More information is available on the events calendar.
  2. There's plenty of stuff to do this weekend—a dog costume contest, the public safety fair and a Halloween carnival at the Main Library, to name a few. For more weekend ideas, check out our events calendar or the weekend guide from South Bay by Jackie.
  3. To sign up for breaking news alerts, visit our breaking news category and click "Get email updates." (If it says you're signed up, but you're not receiving the alerts, click "Unsubscribe." Then click "Get email updates" to resubscribe. That should fix the issue.)
  4. In case you missed it, Thursday's top headline was RBUSD Names 2 Education Advocates of the Year.
  5. Today's photo of the day was submitted by Steve Shor via Twitter. Want to submit your own photo?
