RBUSD to Swear in New Board Members
Michael Christensen, Brad Waller and Brad Serkin will join the Redondo Beach Board of Education on Tuesday.

Three new members will join the Redondo Beach Unified School District Board of Education on Tuesday night.
Brad Serkin, Brad Waller and Michael Christensen were the only three candidates to run for the three spots on the school board vacated last month by termed-out members Todd Loewenstein, Drew Gamet and Jane Diehl.
Serkin, Waller and Christensen will be sworn in by City Clerk Eleanor Manzano during Tuesday's meeting, which starts at 6:30 p.m. at the RBUSD headquarters.

The board of education will also elect a president, vice president and a presiding officer. Members will also appoint a legislative representative, a member of the Board of Education of the Southern California Regional Occupational Center and a representative for the Beach Cities Health District/Blue Zones committee.
The RBUSD offices are located at 1401 Inglewood Ave. in North Redondo Beach.
