The Redondo Beach Police Department listed only four crimes in the department's Part I crime recap covering reports received March 7 through Thursday.
Commercial burglary in Redondo Beach
No loss was reported after a man walked into a business in the 1400 block of Hawthorne Boulevard early Friday afternoon and attempted to steal items.

According to police, he entered the open store and placed items in a large bag before trying to leave without paying. Store employees confronted him, so he left the items. He and a companion left in a vehicle described as a green Honda van.
The man was described as a 6-foot, 1-inch black man in his 50s who weighed about 160 pounds. His companion was described as a 35- to 40-year-old black woman.

Residential burglary in Redondo Beach
Two women's bicycles were stolen from an unlocked storage shed in the 2800 block of Perkins Lane at some point between March 11 and Saturday.
Vehicle burglary in Redondo Beach
Someone entered a 2013 Nissan Altima via the rear passenger door and stole currency on Saturday morning. The car was parked in the 200 block of South Pacific Coast Highway.
Stolen vehicle in Redondo Beach
A red 1996 Honda Civic, license plate No. 3PQM583, was stolen between late Friday night and Saturday morning from the 2600 block of Ruhland Avenue in North Redondo Beach.
