Redondo Beach Crime: Street Robbery
The following information was supplied by the Redondo Beach and Torrance police departments. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

The Redondo Beach Police Department recently dealt with a burglaries and stolen vehicles, according to the department's Part I crime recap covering reports received March 7 through Thursday.
A stolen vehicle was also reported in the Hollywood Riviera, according to the Torrance Police Department.

Police are searching for two black boys, ages 16-18, accused in an attempted street robbery on Wednesday. According to police, the two boys approached the victim and demanded valuables. When the victim refused, the culprits punched the victim repeatedly and fled. No loss was reported.
The incident occurred shortly before 8 a.m. Wednesday in the 2400 block of 190th Street.

Commercial burglaries in Redondo Beach
Police are searching for up to four people involved in stealing laundry detergent and toilet paper from Ralphs on Hawthorne Boulevard in North Redondo Beach on Saturday. Police believe there were one to four white men in their 20s, as well as a female accomplice, who fled in a 1995 gold Toyota Avalon.
Someone stole boiler tubing from a business in the 2700 block of Manhattan Beach Boulevard at some point between the evening of March 8 and Saturday morning. The culprit cut a lock and entered a secured storage area to take the tubing.
Residential burglaries in Redondo Beach
A burglar crawled through the open window of a residence in the 700 block of the Esplanade at some point during the morning hours of March 7 and stole a computer, cash and a purse.
At some point between Feb. 24-25, someone entered a secured garage in the 1300 block of the Esplanade and cut a security cable holding two mountain bikes. The two bikes and a child's seat were reported stolen.
Stolen vehicles in Redondo Beach
A green 1995 Nissan Altima, license No. 461X684, was stolen at some point between the evening of March 8 and Saturday morning from the 2500 block of Curtis Avenue.
Redondo Beach police recovered Wednesday a blue 2004 Jeep Liberty stolen from the 300 block of The Village at some point between the evening of March 8 and Saturday morning.
Stolen vehicle in the Hollywood Riviera
A 2010 Ducati M/C was stolen from the 300 block of Palos Verdes Boulevard in the Hollywood Riviera the morning of March 4.
