Redondo Beach to Honor Veterans with Ceremony, Picnic
The event takes place at Veterans Park and the picnic is free for vets and military members.

REDONDO BEACH, CA -- Redondo Beach will host a Veterans Day observance ceremony at Veterans Park on Friday.
The observance, which starts at 1 p.m., will include reflection, remembrance music and commentary, organizers said. The event, organized by the Redondo Beach Veterans Memorial, will honor all members of the military who served their country.
Local elected officials and other military dignitaries are expected to attend the event.

Redondo High Wind Ensemble and the Los Angeles Police Emerald Society Pipes and Drum will perform at the ceremony.
Following the ceremony, there will be a barbecue picnic sponsored by the Redondo Elks. The picnic is free for all veterans and active duty members of the military. A $5 donation is requested from all others.
