Redondo Beach Police Department Hosts Two-Day Homeless Outreach Program
The number of homeless people living in Redondo Beach has risen to more than 200 this year.

REDONDO BEACH, CA — The Redondo Beach Police Department will host a two-day homeless outreach event Tuesday & Wednesday (Aug. 30 & 31 – 7 a.m. to 12 p.m.), run by the Coordinated Entry System for SPA 8.
Police, along with social workers, mental health professionals, will hit the streets to link homeless individuals with the service support and resources they need to get off the streets.

The number of homeless people living in Redondo Beach has risen to 216 this year, up from 165 in 2015 and 70 in 2013, according to the Greater Los Angeles Area Homeless Count in January.
