Redondo Woman Searches For Dog's Owner After Unprovoked Attack: Report

After she was bitten by a dog in an unprovoked attack, the woman has been unable to find the dog's owner, according to a report.

REDONDO BEACH, CA — A Redondo Beach family is asking for help finding the owners of a dog who bit a woman in an unprovoked attack captured on video, KTLA reported.

The victim, Michelle Lara, was walking along Artesia Boulevard on Feb. 18 when a dog leaped out of an open door and bit her on the arm. The bite caused bruising and left Lara with reduced mobility in her arm, KTLA reported.

Lara said she initially talked to the dog's owner, but was unable to follow up with questions about the dog's vaccination status because "she was intentionally given a wrong number," the station reported.
