Redondo Union Blasts Past Mira Costa in High School Rankings
The high school in Redondo Beach comes in second in the state to only one other local school and that's on The Hill, not in Manhattan Beach.

Redondo Union High School is among the South Bay’s three top-ranked public high schools, outranking the acclaimed Mira Costa High School in Manhattan Beach, according to Niche, which compiles school rankings.
In the latest set of statewide rankings, Redondo Union comes in at No. 22 while Mira Costa hits No. 63. The ranking puts RUHS second only to Palos Verdes Peninsula High, which comes in at No. 9 statewide in the new survey.
Palos Verdes High in Palos Verdes Estates ranks No. 28, just behind Redondo Union.

Other Los Angeles schools that made the top 100 include Granada Hills Charter (No. 1 in the state), Troy in Fullerton (No. 3 in California), San Marino (No. 7), Oxford Academy in Cypress (No. 12), and California Academy of Mathematics & Science in Carson (No. 16).
