Residents Sues Redondo Beach Senior Living Center Over Poor Conditions
The suit claims that residents were not relocated during a plumbing repair project to keep costs down.

REDONDO BEACH, CA — Residents at a senior living community are suing the management company over a month-long plumbing project, the Daily Breeze reported.
Close to two dozen seniors at Heritage Pointe are suing the Foundation for Affordable Housing, PK Management and the Redondo Beach Unified School District over allegations that dust and debris from the project are creating poor living conditions at the complex.
Although the school district owns the land, it is not involved in the construction project that was the basis of the complaint, RBUSD Superintendent Steven Keller said in a statement. The district leases the land to the foundation.
