Santa Claus Is Coming To Redondo Beach. Here’s His Schedule And Routes

REDONDO BEACH, CA — Get those cameras ready: Santa Claus will soon be making his rounds in Redondo Beach.

The Redondo Beach Police Department’s Santa sleigh will visit neighborhoods throughout the city starting Tuesday, Dec. 2, the city said.

Santa will start his route at about 5 p.m. each night.

For safety reasons, Santa will not be making stops on busy streets, such as Manhattan Beach Boulevard and 190th Street.

In the event weather leads to cancellations, Santa will head out to those affected areas on makeup days, including Saturday, Dec. 20, Sunday, Dec. 21 and Monday, Dec. 22.

Tuesday, Dec. 2 | Route 1

• Santa will start at Clark Lane and Harkenss Lane, then go eastbound to Clark Lane and Ripley Avenue.
• Then, the sleigh will head north on Felton Lane, westbound on Harriman Lane to Harkness Lane and eastbound on Huntington Lane to Ripley Avenue.

Wednesday, Dec. 3 | Route 2

• Santa’s sleigh will start at Flagler Lane and Armour Lane, then go westbound to Harkness Lane and turn right onto Sprekles and eastbound to Green Avenue.
• The sleigh will make another left and travel westbound to Havemeyer Lane.
• Santa will turn left on Flagler Lane and head to Spreckles Avenue.
• The sleigh will turn right onto Harkness Lane, then travel right again onto Morgan Lane and head eastbound to Blossom Lane.
• Then, the sleigh will turn left onto Speyer Lane and travel back westbound to Speyer Lane to Harkness Lane.
• After making a right, the sleigh will head to Pullman Lane, where it will head eastbound to Ripley Avenue.
• Santa will make a right on Ripley Avenue to MacKay Lane, then turn left onto Belmont Lane and travel westbound to Harkness Lane.

Thursday, Dec. 4 | Route 3

• Santa’s sleigh will start at Harper Avenue and Palm Lane and head northbound to Artesia Boulevard.
• From there, Santa will go back and forth on Steinhart Avenue, Goodman Avenue, Stanford Avenue, Ford Avenue, Reed Street, Herrin Street, Carver Street, Wollacott Street and Axenty Way.

Friday, Dec. 5 | Route 4

• Santa will start on 190th Street and Pruitt Drive, then head to Armour Lane and travel eastbound to Firmona Avenue.
• The sleigh will make a left and head westbound on Spreckels Lane to Pruitt Drive.
• Then, Santa will make a right on Fisk Lane, traveling eastbound to 190th Street, then make a right and another right onto Firmona Avenue.
• Santa will head northbound in his sleigh to Alvord Lane, where he will stop for a few minutes.
• The sleigh will then head to Ralston Lane and travel westbound to Pruitt Drive, where it will make a left and head eastbound to the 2500 through 2600 blocks of Alvord Lane.
• Santa will make a left onto Inglewood Avenue, then another left at Ralston Lane and make a right on Felton Lane.
• Once the sleigh hits 185th Street, it will turn left on Pruitt Drive, then turn right at 18th Street and go eastbound across Inglewood Avenue to Firmona Avenue.
• Then, Santa will turn right onto 185th Street and head westbound to Felton Avenue.
• The sleigh will travel northbound to 183rd Street, then eastbound to Firmona Avenue.
• Santa will then head westbound to Felton Avenue on 182nd Place and then head eastbound on 182nd Street to Inglewood Avenue.

Saturday, Dec. 6 | Route 5

• Santa will start his route at 190th Street and Green Lane, then turn right, heading southbound down Cluster Lane.
• The sleigh will turn left at 190th Street to Blossom Lane, then head northbound to Havemeyer Lane.
• Santa will head eastbound to Ridnge Lane and turn right on the service road at 190th Street and make a left.
• After getting to Earle Lane, the sleigh will make its round at each of the Courts.
• Then the sleigh will head eastbound on Ripley Lane to Meyer Lane and will turn left on 190th Street to Phelan Lane.
• Santa will head northbound to Fisk Lane, then westbound to High Lane, right and travel eastbound on Alvord Lane.
• The sleigh will go to Lane, then make a U-turn at the park and come northbound to Ralston Lane, where it will travel westbound to Meyer Lane.
• Santa will then go right and head eastbound on Hill Lane to Lilienthal Lane, then westbound on Ives Lane and eastbound on Hadley Lane.
• The sleigh will head down Lilienthal Lane, then Ripley Lane to Marshallfield Lane and westbound to Harkness Lane.

Sunday, Dec. 7 | Route 6

• Santa will start at Amethyst Street and Harkness Lane, then turn left onto 190th Street and go west to Goodman Avenue.
• Then, the sleigh will turn right and head westbound on Lomax Lane to Prospect Avenue.
• Santa will turn right onto Van Horne Lane, then go eastbound to Harkness Lane.
• The sleigh will make a left, then travel westbound on Armour Lane to Reynolds Lane.
• Santa will head down the 1600 and 1700 blocks of Speyer Lane before traveling down to Harper Avenue and Aviation Boulevard.
• Then, the sleigh will go back to Belmont Lane and travel northbound to Goodman Avenue to Aviation Boulevard.
• Finally, Santa will come back on Stanford to Belmont, then travel northbound on Ford Avenue to Aviation Boulevard.

Monday, Dec. 8 | Route 7

• Santa will start at the Redondo Beach Police Department, then head northbound on Broadway Avenue to Catalina Avenue.
• The sleigh will then head southbound down Elena Avenue to Carnelian Street, then make a left and take Pacific Coast Highway.
• Santa will turn left on Beryl Street before heading down Francisca Avenue.
• From there, the sleigh will head north on Catalina Avenue, then southbound on Pacific Coast Highway to Diamond Street.
• After turning left on Diamond Street, Santa will head to N. Gertruda Avenue, then go northbound to Carnelian Street.
• The sleigh will then turn right and head to Guadalupe Avenue, then go southbound to Diamond Street.
• Then, Santa will make a left onto Irena Avenue, then go northbound to Agate Street, then southbound on Juanita Avenue to Del Amo Avenue.
• From Del Amo, the sleigh will turn left and go to Lucia Avenue, then northbound ot 190th street and turn right to go southbound on Maria Avenue to Del Amo Boulevard.
• Santa will then go northbound on Paulina Avenue to 190th Street.

Tuesday, Dec. 9 | Route 8

• Santa’s sleigh will start at the police station, then head southbound on Broadway Avenue to Torrance Boulevard.
• Then, the sleigh will head eastbound to S. Francisca Avenue, then northbound to Vinecent Park.
• Santa will then turn right, go southbound on Guadalupe Avenue to Torrance Boulevard.
• After turning left on Helberta Avenue, the sleigh will head northbound to Vincent Street, then turn right onto Irena Avenue.
• Santa will then travel southbound to Torrance Boulevard, then left and northbound onto Juanita Avenue to Vincent Street.
• The sleigh will travel southbound to Torrance Boulevard, then turn onto Juanita Avenue to Vincent Street.
• Santa will come southbound down S. Lucia Avenue to Torrance Boulevard.

Wednesday, Dec. 10 | Route 9

• Santa will start his route on Broadway Avenue and Torrance Boulevard, then head southbound to Knob Hill Avenue.
• He will then head north on Elvira Avenue to Sapphire Street.
• After turning right and crossing Pacific Coast Highway on Sapphire Street to Knob Hill Avenue, the sleigh will turn right and travel back to Gertruda Avenue.
• Santa will then head north to Pearl Street, then turn left onto Francisca Avenue and make another left turn onto Pacific Coast Highway.
• The sleigh will make a left onto Sapphire Street, this time heading to Helberta Avenue, then go left on Irena Avenue and travel south.
• Santa will turn left onto Serpentine Street, then make another left on S. Juanita Avenue to Camino Real.

Thursday, Dec. 11 | Route 10

• Santa will start his route at Pearl Street and Susana Avenue, before turning the corner to travel north on Faye Lane until reaching Pearl Street.
• The sleigh will then take Prospect Avenue to Torrance Boulevard and turn left on Lucia Avenue.
• Then, Santa will travel southbound on Lucia Avenue, then make a right on Rita Street and head to Juanita Avenue.
• He will travel north on Juanita Avenue to Torrance Boulevard, then head south to Irena, where he will go south and turn right on Judy Drive.
• The sleigh will head to Pearl Street, then head west to Camino Real.
• Then, Santa will head north down Camino Real to Miramar Drive and travel to Francisca Avenue.
• He will travel to Sierra Vista Drive and end at Camino Real.
• Families who live on Opal and Pearl streets should plan to meet Santa on Lucia Avenue, Juanita Avenue or Irena Avenue.

Friday, Dec. 12 | Route 11

• Santa will start his night on Avenue G and Palos Verdes Boulevard, then head west to Pacific Coast Highway.
• He will then head east on Avenue F to Palos Verdes Boulevard, then west down Avenue E.
• The sleigh will make a right onto Avenue D and head to Gertruda Avenue, then back on Helberta Avenue to Avenue D.
• Santa will head south down S. Irena Avenue, then will take Palos Verdes Boulevard to Prospect Avenue and drive down the 1000 block of Avenue D.
• Then, the sleigh head west on Avenue C, then travel east on Avenue B and then down Avenue A to Pacific Coast Highway.
• Santa will then take Knob Hill Avenue to Camino Real.

Saturday, Dec. 13 | Route 12

• Santa will start his route at S. Irena Avenue and Palos Verdes Boulevard, then head east to the 1400 block.
• He will then head west on Helberta Avenue to Palos Verdes Boulevard, then drive east on S. Gertruda Avenue.
• From there, Santa will head to Messina Avenue, then head westbound on Avenue E to Palos Verdes Boulevard.
• The sleigh will head east on Avenue F and head to Prospect Avenue, then head west on Avenue G to Palos Verdes Boulevard.
• Santa will head south on Palos Verdes Boulevard to Catalina Avenue, where he will take a left onto Camino de la Costa.
• Then, he will go east on Paseo de la Playa and come back east on Vista del Mar.
• The sleigh will then head north along the 1700 block of Camino de la Costa to Avenue I, then make a left on Esplanade and head to Knob Hill Avenue.
• Santa will continue down Knob Hill Avenue to Pacific Coast Highway, then take Pacific Coast Highway to Avenue A.
• The sleigh will then head west to Esplanade, then continue to Avenue A to Avenue H, alternating East & West on the Avenues.
• Santa’s route will end at Avenue H and Pacific Coast Highway.

Sunday, Dec. 14 | Route 13

• Santa will start his route at Johnston Avenue and Beland Boulevard, then head north to cover the area between Johnston Avenue and Dow Avenue.
• The sleigh will head to Gibson Place and 159th Street, then 160th Street to Beland Boulevard.
• Next, Santa will head to Warfield Avenue and Vail Avenue and continue west down Warfield Avenue to Aviation Boulevard.

Monday, Dec. 15 | Route 14

• Santa will start his night at Vail Avenue and Timothy Avenue, then May Avenue and Pinckard Avenue.
• Then, the sleigh will hit the area south of Beland, including Robinson Street. Barkley Lane, Gibson Place, Perkins Lane and Carlsbad Street.
• Santa will then head west down Robinson Street to Aviation Boulevard.

Tuesday, Dec. 16 | Route 15

• Santa will start at Plant Avenue and Vail Avenue, then head west to Green Avenue.
• He will then turn right on Perry and head to Rindge Lane before turning left on Ernest Avenue.
• The sleigh will head down Ernest Avenue to Aviation, then right and head on Farrell Avenue to Vail Avenue.
• Santa will make a left onto Bataan Road and head to Aviation Boulevard, then make a right and go east down Dufour Avenue to Vail Avenue.
• Santa will end his route at Vail Avenue and Warfield Avenue.

Wednesday, Dec. 17 | Route 16

• Santa will start at Curtis Avenue and Aviation Boulevard, then head east to Perkins Lane.
• He will make a left onto Gates Avenue, travel west and turn right on Aviation Boulevard.
• Then, the sleigh will head to Perkins Lane, and the route will end at Perkins Lane and Robinson Street.

Thursday, Dec. 18 | Route 17

• Santa will start his night at Aviation Boulevard and Matthews Avenue, then go left on Nelson Avenue.
• He will make a left at Aviation Way, then a right at Matthews Avenue and continue to Aviation Boulevard.
• The sleigh will make a right on Aviation Boulevard and travel to Ruhland Avenue, then travel east to Perkins Lane.
• Santa will then travel west to Voorhees Avenue to Aviation Boulevard.

Friday, Dec. 19 | Route 18

• Santa will start at the 1900 block of Firmona Ave, then head north to 1900 Condon Avenue.
• He will then turn right on Grant Avenue to Inglewood Avenue, then turn right on Vanderbilt Lane.
• The sleigh will stop at Ruxton Lane and Carnegie Lane, then go to Rockefeller Lane, then head west to Aviation Way.
• Santa will turn right down Carnegie Lane to Ruxton Lane, before turning left on Vanderbilt Lane and heading to Aviation Way.
