Sea Hawk Football Advances to Playoffs
Redondo Union High School will host visiting St. Bonaventure in Friday's playoff game.
With last Thursday's High School, the No. 2 ranked Sea Hawks cemented their first-round playoff berth in the Northern Division of the CIF Southern Section Ford Football Championships, presented by Farmers.
Redondo—which has a Bay League record of 4-1 and an overall record of 6-4—will play Marmonte League No. 3 team St. Bonaventure, a seeded team with an overall record of 8-2. The game is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Friday at Redondo.
Both Palos Verdes High School, which finished No. 1 in the Bay League, and Mira Costa, which finished No. 3 in the Bay League, also earned spots in the playoffs.

- Palos Verdes (5-0, 8-2)
- Redondo Union (4-1, 6-4)
- Mira Costa (3-2, 4-6)
- Peninsula (1-5, 5-5)
- Leuzinger (0-6, 0-10)
