Thanks to the efforts of his two adult sons, Redondo Beach resident Herb Younger was recently reunited with the 1965 Chevy Impala SS he sold in the 1980s to pay for his children's education.
In the first "Chevy True Story" to celebrate Chevrolet's 100-year anniversary, Jared and Derek Younger detail their 5-year search for their dad's old car—a search that took them all the way to Montreal, Canada.

"If I could somehow miraculously find the car, it would be worth the search," explained one of the brothers in the video produced by Chevrolet. (The family is not identified in the video.)
The Chevy crew filmed Herb Younger as he reunited with the car. With cooperation from Younger's sons, the team posed as a film crew documenting three generations of an American family, according to a note on the Chevy Culture website.

"Dear God … that's my old Chevy," Younger said, clutching his heart, as he saw the car pull up.
"I'm just stunned … I don't even know what to say," he added later. "Wow, gee, I can't even believe this is for real."
"It's not just a car, it's all the memories and feelings," one of his sons says at the end of the video. "It brings that all back."
