South Bay Tween Missing For Days Found

HAWTHORNE, CA — A 12-year-old girl who went missing in Hawthorne last week was found on Monday, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

The girl was last seen on March 26 at 10 p.m. in the 14100 block of South Corday Avenue and deputies believed she could have been headed to Pasadena, Torrance or another location in Hawthorne.

Authorities alerted the public that the 12-year-old has conditions that require medication and her family was concerned for her health.

The Sheriff's Department announced that the girl was located on Monday, but no additional information was available.
