Steve Aspel, Candidate for Redondo Beach Mayor
Steve Aspel is one of four candidates aiming to replace Mayor Mike Gin as mayor of Redondo Beach.
Councilman Steve Aspel, a resident of Redondo Beach since 1976, is running against three other candidates for mayor of Redondo Beach. He is a retired insurance agent who will be termed-out of his seat as District 1 councilman this election.
Aspel does not support Measure A; however, on his website he says that he will "fulfill the will of the voters," whatever they choose. He told the Easy Reader that if elected, his first priority would be to heal the divide the issue has caused.
Aspel declined to fill out a questionnaire from Redondo Beach Patch.
