Tryouts to Be Held for 'Guys and Dolls'

Calling all child actors and singers: Belasco Theatre Company will hold tryouts for its upcoming fall production of Guys and Dolls.

Auditions, which are open to children ages 7 to 18, will be held from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Aug. 21 at the Aviation Gym Dance Room at the at 1935 Manhattan Beach Blvd.

Tryouts will start with a group dance audition at 3 p.m. Performers will then be seen individually on a first-come, first-served basis to sing a capella and read lines from a script.

All children are welcome to audition, and no experience is required; however, Belasco is especially looking for older boys and experienced dancers.

To reserve a spot at auditions, actors should send their name, age, experience and contact information to info@belasco.org. All actors should be available Tuesdays from 4:15 p.m. until 6:30 p.m., Wednesdays from 4 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. and Sundays from 3:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. for rehearsals.
